114 Student Salvations Plus Other Ministry Manifestations

I had a great time in California ministering to several hundred high school students & 95% of them were Korean.  We really bonded and had so much fun.

Sixty-one of them received Jesus for the first time.  We had lots of prayer ministry and I stopped in the middle of one message and prayed for students in physical pain and 25 of them got well in three minutes.  Later many were on the floor laughing and they had never experienced anything like this before.  Some were experiencing manifestations for nearly three hours, and some either don’t go to church or have never been in a church that believes in the power of God for today.  I now have a new bunch of Korean friends on facebook.  One wrote to me to say his carpol tunnels syndrome is almost completely healed.
These Koreans were a whole new culture to me and I just fell in love with them so fast – they huddled around me and talked and talked and asked questions about the Holy Spirit etc – they begged me not to leave and to return possibly in June – they were just so hungry for the anointing and the presence of God – they began to pray for one another and some of those got healed too – it was great.   A group of cheerleaders came up and asked for prayer as one had hurt her ankle and the Lord healed it in less than one minute.  Praise God! Many of the students have now become my friends on facebook.
And last week at Life Gate School I saw 42 Middle school students commit their lives to Jesus after a message about not going through the motions.  Then I went back there  this past Tuesday and as I got up before I actually presented my topic, I felt led to invite more students to get right with God, who had skipped it last week, but perhaps really wanted to, so before any sharing or teaching was done, eleven more students prayed with me committing their lives to Jesus.
After that I had the students hold out there hands and pray asking God for the name of someone to pray for and all participated, and later one boy came up to me and said he was praying for another boy in the school who was not there today because he has been very sick, in and out of the hospital and having lots of medical issues, and after he prayed, that boy walked into the room.
So how about a big praise the Lord for all of these salvations and testimonies
From Pia Hugo – My Host in California-
Words cannot express my deep gratitude to Brother Jay (he does not like being called Pastor so I will call him “Brother”…actually I also like to call him Mr. G, you can ask him what the “G” stands for!).

Not only did all the students love him (they came from all different schools and churches in my area) but so did my adult intercessory team.  As some of you may know, I started a healing/prayer/deliverance team last year and this team was able to help Bro. Jay minister to the kids at the youth rally for two nights.  On Sat. morning, we had a private time with him and he prayed for all of us.  Everyone except for two, I think, got laid out in the Spirit in my living room floor. While on the carpet, I got a very important word I needed to hear, a few felt heat and then actually got healed, one woman who had been praying for the gift of tongues for 10 years finally got it!  Some wept, some shook in the power and some just had a fit of the holy laughter–it felt like old times except none of these people were with me 12 years ago when I first experienced the Toronto Revival and joined this New Wine Network. In fact, most of people in the group came from conservative backgrounds and we all go to my non-charismatic church (which Jay attended on Sunday).  This was their first experience for anything like this and they loved it!

Aside from all the ministry blessings, salvations and healings that went on with the adults and the students though, I am most grateful for having found a new friend and great brother in Christ!  For those of you who have never met him (my only experience with him prior to this weekend was through this New Wine Network), he is truly the real deal…very humble, very authentic and very anointed!  I have no doubt his real ministry work is just beginning and it will only get better as he continues to carry this current revival fire where ever God might call him.  God bless you, bro, and thanks again for everything!  I do hope you can return in June 🙂

Blessings and love,

Metal Healings, Stroke & Wheelchair Improvement, and 42 Student Commitments to Jesus

Our one way ten hour driving trip to Kansas was fun and amazing as Jason and I got to return to the church I pastored over 15 years ago.  Jason led enthusiastic worship and I ministered five times, although I only preached four times.  We saw lots of healings of all sorts of ministry, and here are two specific ones.  We also spent time encouraging the leaders of the church as well, and meeting other local pastors in the area of this small rural Kansas town.

Since attending the healing seminar in January in Redding, CA I have been praying for people with metal in their bodies, such as pins, bolts, screws, plates, shunts, pacemakers, etc – and many have pain leave or warmth return and feeling return etc.  Everyone I prayed for said they got some or total relief.  One lady that I prayed for on Saturday evening, came back on Tuesday evening and told me that her leg had been cold for years, but since Saturday her leg had been hot and she had been perspiring there which was a good thing.  She was rejoicing.  Continue reading

Opportunities

“The opportunity of a lifetime must be seized within the lifetime of the opportunity”  Leonard Ravenhill

Combine that with Galatians 6:10 – “As you have the opportunity, do good unto all men, especially the household of faith.”

And add in Acts 10:38 “And Jesus was anointed to do good, and to heal all who were sick and oppressed by the devil.”  So often the church looks at the anointing to do the miraculous and I am not minimizing that at all, but we need to see that Jesus was anointed to do good, and we need to look for those opportunities to do good, especially to the household of faith.

Can you share a time when you had an opportunity with a very narrow amount of time to jump at that opportunity and what happened as a result of your action or inaction.

Don’t Lose Your Joy

Joy:
Has the economy, the presidential race, or life in general have you kind of depressed?  Over the past couple of weeks I have had several opportunities to get mad at circumstances and people.  Lately it seems like people in general have an assignment to try to make me mad, so that I lose my joy.  Over the years, my biggest problem is with people, well, actually a person – to be more precise, the one in the mirror looking back at me.   Continue reading

Surf’s Up – Follow the Cloud Rather than the Crowd

Surf’s UP! – A new wave of God’s presence is about to hit.  I really believe this based on what I am hearing from God and how others in the community are seeing and responding.

In Luke 9:1-2 we see that God has given us power and authority – and power is the ability might and strength to complete a task, but authority is the right to use that power.

Bill Johnson stated that with power you catch the wave of God such as a surfer does with the wave that is breaking, but with authority you create the wave –  Continue reading

Prayer for the Week

Father in the name of Jesus, I ask you to bless and encourage my Email friends today.  I pray that each one will develop new levels of relationships with you that enable trust to be established, love to abound, hope to flourish, and any healing and provision that is needed to manifest.  I ask that extra angels be sent to those who need immediate help and that your Word, that my friends are standing and agreeing on will not return void, but will accomplish that to which you have sent it.

I ask that each need be dealt with today in a way that everyone who reads this prayer out loud will see some change, and transformation in their circumstances, the demonstrates and shows that something good is happening and that you are moving and working in their lives so that faith begins to rise to the surface in a way that promotes life and godliness, that will sustain courage for the battle and help each person identify and establish You as the source of their life and the completeness that they may need that is available to them bringing the answers from heaven to earth.

Lord I ask that you increase people’s finances, and influence for Kingdom purposes, and that healing becomes natural for them, rather than the exception.  I pray for peace to abound in all relationships, especially those with family and business partners, and church members that is currently strained.  I pray that a spirit of understanding will prevail for each person reading this prayer and that forgiveness will easily flow.  May the comforter who is the Holy Spirit come and be a part of each person demonstrating your goodness, your care and your companionship in a strong and personal way.

I pray against loneliness and fear and ask that perfect love which casts out all fear, blend together with their faith to make a difference.  I pray that the Kingdom of God will be expanded in each person’s life today and that today will be a day that they access the power of God to actually make a difference in someone else’s life, and that people come to know Jesus through the actions of many who may read this or forward it to their friends.  I ask that each person be faithful to the gifts that they have been given, and that wisdom and discernment are downloaded in ways that only they would understand as being a direct impartation from our Heavenly Father.  I pray for each person reading this now that they will stop and thank you for the many blessings that they already have received and enjoy, and that a spirit of thankfulness will permeate their lives in a consistent, profound and encouraging way.

And finally I pray for a fresh anointing in every area of ministry, and that the anointing of the Holy Spirit will enable them to do things that they previously thought were impossible, recognizing that you are the God of impossibilities, and the God who indeed loves us with an unending love.  May this day be filled with joy, power, strength, might and may each person only do what they see the Father doing, and then move out in confidence and with courage and bless others in the process too.

In the powerful name of Jesus Christ

Amen and Amen!

Kingdom Living: Tipping Well

In Kansas last week, I challenged the people to be good tippers at restaurants as many servers are being stiffed more and more during the economic downturn. I also told them about a pastor friend who tips whatever the bill is. If the bill is $20 he leaves a $20 tip. If the bill is $100, he leaves a $100 tip. And so I encouraged the people to look for ways to pray for business people and to expand the Kingdom outside of the church walls, in their city and area.

Later that evening we went to Pizza Hut, the only place open in that small town – and after dinner as we were about to leave, and even though I was a guest, I felt led to give an extra $10 to our server. Her name was Laura and two other friends of mine and myself struck up a conversation with her, and I ended up praying for her. I asked her if she was a friend of Jesus, and she responded by saying that He was more than a friend, He was her Savior.

Two days later we were at Subway for lunch and there was Laura again, in her day job Continue reading

Ministry of Cheerfulness: March 8

What a wonderful day.  Begin to plan right now  how you might encourage and cheer up one person today to help them have a wonderful day too.  Look for ways to bless, honor, be kind, demonstrate love, show compassion, give, help, assist, promote, share, smile, and just change the atmosphere for someone or some group and in doing so, you will be blessed back in amazing ways.  You’ll see.
  • “Therefore, let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another.”  Romans 14:19..
Look for ways to extend peace to others who are in the midst of stressful and difficult situations, whether it be financial, relational, physical or some other problem.  Continue reading
