Heidi Baker Really Moved Me

I was intrigued recently by a major cover story that Christianity Today is running this month.  Miracles in Mozambique: How Mama Heidi Reaches the Abandoned The note below is from a friend who is not on facebook but gave me permission to post it here, and also reflects what I am learning too.

Multiple Healings, satanist in church, WOW!

• This week I received an email from a lady I know in Texas and she reminded me that four years ago in 2008 when I came to her area, that I had a word of knowledge that God was healing her knee, and she was scheduled for knee surgery, and had not told me about her condition.  Instantly her knee was healed, and it has obviously been four years now and she never had the knee surgery, and she is now 81 years old.  Isn’t that amazing!  WOW – Go GOD!

We have a song to sing about Jesus, and that song includes ministry in a variety of ways and levels, and so I hope that this brief encouragement will assist you in walk this week. 

Three Fantastic Testimonies – Revival is close

Three Wonderful Testimonies of what God is doing!

 

1.  Today I was honored as I ministered at Covenant Church of Mead just 12 miles outside of the Omaha metro area, and as I came up to share the message, I felt led to offer an opportunity for salvation and recommitment at the very beginning of my message before preaching and we had 27 recommitments and 3 first time salvations.   WOW – Way to Go God!  This was a big stretch for me not to teach or share or preach prior to offering this opportunity, but God was definitely in it for sure, and the numbers confirmed it.

 

I then felt led to give one more opportunity at the end of the message for those that wished they had entered in, but did not and we had 3 more salvations for a total of 33 commitments for the day – and 249 for the year so far.  Praise the Lord!  My goal for this year is 1000 commitments.  Please continue to pray for many people to come into the Kingdom of God this year!!! 

 

Growing up in California, when the citrus fruit was ripe, you did not have to tug on it, but just tap it and the fruit would fall off into your hands.  That’s what happened today.

I then preached and taught on Moving from Impartations to Activation, and then offered prayer ministry for about 30 or 50 people for another hour and a half with lots of manifestations of all kinds, and the service lasted 3 1/2 hours while the presence of God was so strong. 

 

I will say there were some healings, and lots of words of knowledge that were confirmed, and many of the teens and young people entered into the presence of the Lord, it was so fun to watch.  It was like an open heaven and so easy to navigate the Kingdom and see people get hungry for God.  It was interesting to watch all that God was doing and the ministry was so expansive that the leaders forgot to take the church offering, but I believe God will make it up the next week because generosity normally follows the move and presence of God.

 

One of the quotes I shared was this, “Religion is what you have left when the Holy Spirit leaves the room.”  He didn’t leave today.

2.  Last Tuesday I ministered at Grace University where we had 15 recommitments to the Lord and about 60 college students asking for prayer for some specific things that I taught about.  I heard through some of the faculty that many students really liked the chapel.  Isn’t this fantastic of how God is moving at all ages?  WOW!

 

3.  Prior to that I was excited to minister to children ages 5-11 at a local church, and again we saw some incredible things happen in the Spirit realm, including children stepping out and praying for their friends and seeing manifestations like children falling under the power of God.  In all of the combined three services we probably had well over 100 children on the floor, many of them repenting, getting right with God, and experiencing His presence.  Some even got words of knowledge on how to pray for their friends.

 

On the last night of the children’s ministry, most of the children had already experienced some carpet time with the Lord, and the parents began to pick up their little ones but the ones who had not been prayed for were waiting in a line and at one point there was only a couple of children left. 

 

One was a young girl that I would estimate was only 7 years old. She came forward for the prayer for the Holy Spirit but I noticed she was limping, so I asked if her foot was hurting and she nodded her head yes, so I first prayed for her foot, and after a short bit asked her to walk across the room.  You could see the skepticism in her eyes, and she sighed, I suspect because she knew her foot was hurting and that meant more pain, but she did it, and came back and I asked her how it was, and she said it was a little bit better. 

 

I then prayed one more time for about 20 seconds and then asked her to walk across the room again, and this time she did not sigh, but complied, and I could visibly see that the limp was gone, and as she came back, she had this huge smile on her face and put her thumb up in the air and told me that the pain was completely gone.  I then prayed for her again, and she gently fell to the floor.  It was very cool, how God touched and healed her too.  Another WOW!

 

Acclerated Healings

Dear Friends

 

I am telling you the truth – the healings and the salvations are accelerating at a rapid pace and rate.  Things are happening at a much quicker pace than just six months ago.  What would take me 5 to 10 minutes to pray for certain people and see results is now happening in 2 to 4 minutes and sometimes less.  And seeing people connect to Jesus usually meant after a good message I might see a few, now I am seeing multiples of people from 20 to 60 sometimes without preaching.  God is on the move and I like the fast pace.

 

I was invited to help pray for people at two services today at Life Gate Church which is a mega type church in the Omaha area.  This was not a paid gig, but rather more of a support role as this church launched healing ministry today and as I prayed, I saw lots and lots of healings for all sorts of pain issues, and accident related injuries, necks, shoulders, backs, legs, knees, etc.  and eyes, and face and skin problems, one lady in a wheel chair after I prayed for her, walked quite a ways pushing her chair – Praise God for these healings!

 

Still another young man (age 18) who has vertebrae problems  with constant back pain for 18 years and also limped, had his leg grow out and the pain disappeared and he also said he had 100% improvement – he actually became friends with me on facebook later in the day and I found out that last week I actually prayed for his aunt at the church out in Mead, NE and she had her hip healed and then she and her daughter have been experiencing amazing things too including getting many accurate words of knowledge -so Josh now wants to come to my meetings on the four Wednesdays and one Sunday in June when I am back in Mead-and he is a popular young man and could have influence on others too – the folks in Mead are talking about and believing for revival –

 

My teachings in June in Mead could actually prepare them for revival in that they will be on Hearing from God, Praying in the Spirit, how to minister with words of knowledge and Prophecy and how to pray for the sick – plus one Sunday on Generosity.  All good prep topics for revival if a lot of new folks were coming in on a consistent basis.

 

Still another man with metal in his body was able to walk pain free – one young lady whose back is like an S experienced 100 % improvement – those were her words – -another man was amazed to suddenly discover in children’s church that he did not need his glasses to see the notes for worship after prayer for his eyes had occurred – the list goes on and on

And then I heard that the revival atmosphere that happened last week when I was ministering at the Covenant church in Mead continued again today – this church is just 15 miles outside of Omaha and apparently it was very powerful and the people were amazed again with healings and manifestations and even a deliverance – Wow way to Go, God!

 

Last Friday at Kingdom Encounter, a friend named Jim  came over for dinner and he had a clogged right ear twice for a moment each time and asked if any of us had that symptom, but none of us did, but later I brought it up when everyone was there, and  our guest worship leader had a clogged right ear with buzzing and it had been going on for a long while – anyway – after a very short prayer she had 90% improvement and later her husband texted me to say it was still improving – later that evening joy and laughter hit those in the ER room and then the people lingered and talked about God until Midnight – something good is happening in Omaha right now and I am so blessed to be a part of it.
