From Fear Factor to Wow Factor – Two Week’s Notice

What a Blessing and Honor it is to serve the Lord!

(picture above is at Celebration Covenant Church in Omaha during worship prior to when I was honored to minister at recently) (and ministering below at a local Hispanic church with translation)

(and here is the Hispanic Congregation – Para Vida)

I’m sure you have heard of the TV show, “The Fear Factor” – well, let me tell you, I have a Wow Factor.  I am seeing a number of people growing in their faith, stepping out in new realms of ministry and  faith walking with Jesus in ways that I am confident is pleasing to our Father.  For it is by faith that we are pleasing to Him.  Fear can stand for, “Forget everything and run, or face everything and rise.”  I know there are times in all of lives, where we just want to toss in the towel and say forget it baby, but with God all things are possible, and when we persevere with Him, face everything and rise, we get to move from the negative fear factor and experience the Kingdom Wow factor.

(above I am ministering to public high school students in Los Angeles)

In the last couple of weeks, I have personally witnessed a number of healings for children, youth and adults, and have seen God come through eliminating pain, and disease and using us to make a difference in the Kingdom is so rewarding.  It is a blessing and an honor to represent you this way.  (getting ready to be introduced to minister healing at Life Gate Church below)

In the past couple of weeks, I have also seen and prayed with about 12 people commit to their lives to the Lord, so that brings the yearly total to 488.  That’s shouting ground right there!!!  Years ago when I was sick with an incurable disease, God took me to Psalm 103:3 which became a life-giving & reality word for me.  “He forgives all your iniquities and heals all your diseases.”  And the Lord spoke to me showing me that the order was important, and then told me that if I got every disease known to man and he healed me of every one of those disease, but my sins were not forgiven, then what good would it be?  The Bible clearly states, “What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?”  So while it is a blessing to pray for others and see them get well, it is so much more important to help someone encounter Jesus with a lifelong commitment.  And both are wow factors indeed.  By the way – I have now been healed, healthy and well of  that incurable disease for over 20 years.  More shouting territory!!!

(above I am praying for people in a rural church near Omaha)

For those of you who give to the ministry, these healings and salvations are just a part of your Kingdom dollars at work, but I do thank you so much for your spontaneous partnership.  It seems like when things are tougher for us financially, God comes through for us as He speaks to you and you respond in faith and obedience.  We are so grateful for your support and generosity, especially this year when Diane lost her teaching job due to her school closing.  We have seen and continue to see His faithfulness in action and through your prayerful and generous responses of obedience.  Simply put, another Wow Factor.  Thank you.

(above – packed place at our home on Fridays for Kingdom Encounters with people from all over the Omaha metro plus some driving up to two hours one way to attend)

A number of people both attending our Kingdom Encounters and other seminars along with the reading of my book are significantly growing in their faith, and I am seeing some of these folks do  amazing and incredible things for the Kingdom of Heaven.  I am so blessed to be a part of this discipleship process, which is something I long for and miss in my role as a traveling minister, but God is graciously supplying opportunities for me to disciple others.  I believe we really don’t have a true “disciple” until the person we are mentoring begins to disciple someone else, and at that point a “true disciple” is born.  There are some rapid births happening presently!

(above – Jason leading worship at a local Lutheran Church which was the location of one of the recent healing services we led together)

I literally have around 10 to 20 people call me or contact me almost every week asking for prayer, personal meetings, counsel, advice and for shared anointing as they are seeking to find someone who can help them, or get past the past, move to a different level, get well, or just help have an encounter with God.  It is my privilege to be available as I am able.  Thank you for your prayers, that enable me to help whomever the Lord might put in my path.  A local pastoral friend of mine says it this way, in order to have success you must have successors.   One of those is shown below as we had the County Treasurer, John Ewing and his wife in our home for prophetic prayer as he is running for US Congress.

Book Update:

My book “Downloads from Heaven” is now in the hands of over 160 people, with orders still coming in.  I should hit the 200 mark this week.  Everyone keeps commenting to me on how easy it is to read, and it is just like I am sitting there in the room sharing with them, and how much they love the stories, and how well the scripture is intertwined into the text.  I am blessed by all of these comments.  Someone has graciously offered to put the book on Kindle, eBook and Amazon, so we are praying about those options.  I will be meeting with my CPA and pastoral advisors to make a decision soon.  I am also working on my second book, and putting the chapter headings together and will begin the actual writing process soon.  I would love to have the second book out and available to everyone by early summer of 2013.  Will you pray with me for this to happen?
