Part of the strategy of our new church plant called Kingdom Encounters is to host a monthly city wide revival service which we call Kingdom Explosions.
At these services we welcome God Presence and invite the Holy Spirit to move freely. We also give 100% of the love offering away to another ministry in the city. We actually had to rent the building we used plus had other expenses, but all of that is paid for out of our own treasury so that 100% of the love offering will indeed go to the designated ministry. On January 25th the offering was shared with Assembly of the Saints Church from North Omaha, many of them attending as well. God showed up in a BIG way with many wonderful, awesome and incredible things happening.
We were blessed by the Lord with an amazing service that lasted about 2.5 hours followed by a dessert fellowship that lasted another 1.5 hours. The service consisted of worship, multiple physical healings, connecting with new friends through selfies on face-book, Holy Kisses that in a modern version are actually translated Hershey Kisses, personal prophetic words, revival worship, spontaneous group prayer, tag team preaching between Pastor Gary Ballard and myself, joy and laughter and a whole lot more. Everyone had so much fun that no one wanted to leave.
We had around 110 people in attendance and when it was over, many asked if we were having another service the next night. Since then, there has been a lot of interest in our next Kingdom Explosion set for Feb 22nd. Kingdom Encounters meets every Sunday morning at 10:10 a.m. at Grace University in Omaha, Nebraska. Our motto is “Where everyone gets to play and we welcome the supernatural.” We also have home groups across the area called SON Groups – which stands for Serving our Neighbor. Every service and every SON group is filled with Holy Spirit equipping times, anointed teaching, revival atmosphere and lingering worship, plus healing prayer.
