Earlier this week I was having lunch with a friend and he informed me that after our meeting he had a doctor’s appointment. I inquired as to the nature of the appointment and he shared that for several weeks his foot had been hurting right where the toes connect to the foot, and he did not know Continue reading
Way to go Jesus!
Thank you everyone for your prayers, financial support, encouragement and friendship blessings.
One of the definitions of the word “testimony” means, “do it again.” Revelation 19:10 says that the Testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. I have learned and taught that every testimony that is shared, can also release a prophetic word in that same category or in the same realm as the testimony itself. In other words, a testimony becomes a word of knowledge with prophecy for those that hear the testimony so that the same thing can then happen to those who listen to the testimony releasing the power of God to do it again. What a Blessing and Honor it is to serve the Lord!
(picture above is at Celebration Covenant Church in Omaha during worship prior to when I was honored to minister at recently) (and ministering below at a local Hispanic church with translation)
I’m sure you have heard of the TV show, “The Fear Factor” – well, let me tell you, I have a Wow Factor. I am seeing a number of people growing in their faith, stepping out in new realms of ministry and faith walking with Jesus in ways that I am confident is pleasing to our Father. For it is by faith that we are pleasing to Him. Fear can stand for, “Forget everything and run, or Continue reading
“If you look at the world, you’ll be distressed… I’d you look within, you may be depressed… If you look to Jesus, you’ll be at rest!” – so come out for an evening of worship, songs, worship, songs, festive refreshments and fellowship – with fellow worship leader and recording artist Kyle Knapp – “And rest…………. in His presence.”
For many months, our son Jason worked hard on his new worship album called, “Running Free” and has twelve original worship songs combined with a few other themes, so I thought I would share some of the details.
When Jason was two days old on his first night home, he slept on my chest while I was on the couch giving Diane a restful night’s sleep in our bedroom. So he wrote a song about that called “Safe in your Arms” which speaks about that first night leading into riding on my shoulders and transitions to someday when Jason has his own children, and they are our grandchildren – but the song also, specifically pinpoints the Father’s love for us. I know you will enjoy it.
“Inspect what you Expect”
FEAR – “Forget Everything And Run” or “Face Everything And Rise” – (In my book without using these notes, I address these definitions in ways that really made me rely on God in unconventional ways.)
“To be outstanding, get comfortable with being uncomfortable.”
“7 Secrets of a Phenomenal LIFE” – read to the bottom
“One of these days usually means none of these days.”
“Glance at the Problem and Gaze at God.”
In Matthew 16 when Jesus said to Peter, Get thee behind me satan, one of the things Jesus was stressing to Peter, was that Peter was not in charge, but rather Jesus was and that Peter needed to get in line behind Jesus.
I have been so blessed and honored to have around 150 books already out there being read with many readers commenting, and more and more orders coming in weekly, so I thought I would share some recent reviews from folks who have read my new book “Downloads from Heaven”
Then I am sharing a worship album review followed by another book review of a friend who is tight with folks like John Maxwell, Zig Ziglar and others you may know.
- Downloads from Heaven is exciting and captivating yet simple and fun to read. ..Jay begins the book with a dilemma. He hears an internal voice say, “Get off the plane! It is going to crash.” What should he do? Get off the plane and let the others die? Ignore the voice? What would you do? You need to read quite a ways before you discover what Jay did. Scripture for you: Proverbs 4:20-26
Quote: “Vision is a destination, a fixed point to which we focus all effort. Strategy is an adaptable path to get us where we want to go.”
If you are interested I have a teaching CD called “Avoiding Pathetic Pathology”, based on Proverbs 4:20-26. Verse 26 says to ponder the path of your feet, so I took five words with the word “path” in them and shared a message about that concept from that passage in Proverbs. And as I often jokingly share, you don’t have to be pathetic to request it, just let me know that it is for someone else who seems to be on a pathetic path. (smile). The suggested donation is $5.00.
My book has arrived from the publisher and I am thrilled to announce to you that nearly 50 copies have already sold – and I am getting orders in the mail every day. It is called “Downloads from Heaven” and I believe it will promote more Kingdom mindedness regarding the spiritual gift of “Words of Knowledge” along with an awareness that God still speaks today.
Jason’s CD “Running Free” has also arrived and you will appreciate the amount of time and work that Jason put into it to make a standard of excellence that will surely bring Glory to the Lord, while promoting new worship songs in your heart and mine.
Both the worship CD and the book are listed for a suggested donation of $15 each. If you are interested in having either one of them, please let me know by sending me an email to email@example.com and I will get back in touch with you as to the mailing specifics and costs for handling and postage.
(note – if you request both the worship album and the book, I will send you the teaching CD on Avoiding Pathetic Pathology for free just to say thank you) This offer is good for the entire month of September, 2012.
Another cool thing that happened today is that the blog has over 5000 hits from 36 different countries. If you have found the articles helpful, inspiring or encouraging, would you consider recommending the blog to some of your friends. People often ask me what they can do to help the ministry besides praying, and I always answer, please refer me to someone or recommend me to a pastor or leader. So by sending the blog address of www.anointed2go.com to someone you know, you will be doing that very thing. I do value your prayers too – they are so important and I am in the process of developing a ministry prayer team.
Thank you for being a part of this ministry. I hope to connect with you soon. Feel free to email me your prayer requests or leave them at the bottom of the page and we will be praying for you for sure.
Sincerely and Warmly,
Pastor Jay W. West
